Brigham Young University - Idaho has been using American Agencies for over 20 years. They submit students who are behind on their tuition payments via our online system. They utilize our pre-collect written demand service to motivate their students to pay both current and previous past-due accounts. Their students come from all over the country as well as many international students. They also use our services on other past-due accounts such as their bookstore, library, and parking tickets. This is a religious institution and is very concerned about their image in the community and throughout the world. To date we are not aware of any complaints from their students about our collection efforts.

Because they have several different departments within the university that utilize our services, we set up a separate account for each department. Each department has a different user which has total access to the system for submitting new accounts, looking up the status of current accounts and all of the analytical and reporting features of our online system.

Because they have been clients for so long their users are on first name basis with our customer care specialists. They treat American Agencies as a part of their own AR department. Over the last few years they have submitted approximately $1,000,000 recovering nearly $400,000 for an overall recovery rate of nearly 40%.

American Agencies has been helping Loma Linda University collect on outstanding student tuition accounts for over 9 years. They submit delinquent accounts on an early intervention basis. They utilize our written demand service when an account is over 90 days delinquent. They then utilize our intensive efforts on the tougher accounts.

Our diplomatic approach helps the university maintain its reputation while keeping on top of receivables. Our efforts have resolved over 51% of outstanding student tuition accounts on a regular basis. Loma Linda stated the following:
